Spent four years with student newspaper for Washington State University in a number of positions ranging from reporter to editor. Covered public safety and court issues for two years, including investigation into misconduct by the campus police that resulted in demotion of chief. Also covered university administration, shot photos and video, launched multimedia desk and hosted weekly news radio program.
